Mark LeHocky Mediation

Mark LeHocky’s mediation practice is built upon his unique background as:

  • A public company general counsel managing large-scale disputes – consumer and employment class actions, intellectual property (IP), antitrust challenges, government investigations, insurance coverage and contract actions;
  • Two decades representing plaintiffs and defendants in complex business tort, antitrust, IP, trade secret, and class actions; and
  • An overlapping 25 years mediating hundreds of complex civil disputes – a sampling of which may be found here.

Mark’s approach is shaped by having worn virtually all professional hats in the legal arena. That background helps all decision-makers make grounded, risked-based choices factoring in all alternatives and practical realities. For his work, he has been repeatedly recognized among the BestLawyers in America© for Mediation and has been twice voted Mediator of the Year for the San Francisco Area through BestLawyers’ rating system.

Mark also serves as an arbitrator and referee and teaches at UC Berkeley’s School of Law on the intersection of dispute management, risk assessment and effective decision-making. His ADR work was the subject of a profile by The Daily Journal.
